Job Description:

The Zonal Manager is responsible for customer service and product delivery through constant liaison with clients, the HH Client Service Head and suppliers on all matters relating to print and campaign management services.

The primary focus of this role will be to deliver exceptional customer service for print and Marketing.

Advice for Local Marketing to be given whilst maintaining brand structure and adhering to National Marketing direction.

The Zonal Manager will, in conjunction with the central commercial & client Marketing team, select the most appropriate supplier, negotiate costing and timescales for each job and ensure that internal procedures are followed at all times.

Orders will be processed in the most efficient manner available.

Ownership of the development of client relationships and supplier partnerships will reside with the Zonal Manager. Focus on Local Marketing will be maintained with regular meetings held with the client Marketing Team.

Key Responsibilities

Develops a good understanding of the clients business and industry sector including Local & National Marketing objectives

Builds relationships with clients, local sites and manage their perceptions and expectations

Business development / Marketing Ideas

Demonstrates an understanding of the technological direction of the industry and how these advances will benefit the client

Identifies and develops business opportunities in line with the business plan / Marketing Plan Locally and Nationally

Takes accurate information from the marketing department

Advise Local Sites on appropriate Marketing activity to increase sales

Produces detailed specifications for suppliers

Develops strong relationships with suppliers & Client Sites

Effective introduction and use of the chosen e-procurement system

Implements and uses management information systems

Ensures best practice in conjunction with wider HH operations group

Ensures most competitive costs are achieved on each project

Ensures best practice procedures are followed and documentation complete

Ensures margins are achieved on each project

Positively embraces change, accepts new approaches and maintains own effectiveness in situations of uncertainty.

Empowers direct reports; creating a sense of ownership by providing clear expectations, control of resources, and responsibility

Delegates work appropriate to the person and the situation recognizing contributions made

Ability to work within the wider HH Client Development team, supporting each other, whilst working towards the goals of the HH Business

Able to create clear and structured meeting reports

Is able to make competent decisions and solve problems based on knowledge relevant to position Good presentation skills, Good technical / product knowledge from Printing Industry

Ability to build long term customer relationship,

Ability to make decisions and solves problems based on sound technical knowledge.

Selling exposure with good negotiating & Team Leadership skills

Willing to travel extensively

Experience:

Minimum 7 years experience within a similar level role, working within a contracted environment to strict service level agreements and key performance indicators

Previous experience working in print/ print management/ print buying/ marketing print procurement essential

Excellent English language skills are essential
