Job Description

Mandatory to have:

o Deep working knowledge in various SAS components such as SAS Enterprise Miner

o Experience in establishing repeat execution process of SAS based models

o Experience in MS Excel, Excel - VBA and Excel macros

Knowledge of Statistical Analysis (such as K-Mean and Hierarchical Clustering, Regression, Decision Tree) and Predictive Modeling (such as Demand Forecast, Market Prediction, Sequence analysis, etc.)

Experience with analytics models across varied industries Banking, Automotive, Retail, CPG, Telecom, B2B

An effective team player with high reciprocity towards changing business requirements

Experienced in leading teams and in client facing roles

Key Performance Indicators:

On-time and accurate execution and refinement of statistical models

Percentage automation and reduction in turnaround time for regular work related to generation of customer lists on the basis of existing models.

Periodic maintenance and fine-tuning of forecasting and analytics models in order to retain effectiveness over time

Capability development of stakeholders for smooth implementation of models at clients sites

Feedback analysis and Real time quality check on analytics models and MIS reports

Educational Background: Engineering or Statistical background with masters in statistics, operations research or MBA; formal certification in SAS Base or higher desirable

Role Description:

Provide industrialized mechanism of statistical analysis and predictive modeling services as part of the sales and marketing analytics end to end offerings. This offering ranges from customer propensity models, segmentation, demand estimation (forecasting), campaign analytics, customer churn prediction, etc. using advanced analytical and modeling techniques

Modify and adapt existing models as and when required. Develop new models, if required

Ensure timely delivery of Analytics insights, on a monthly basis

Ongoing program/project delivery management of the analytics and modeling function in marketing analytics while determining optimal modeling approach for each scenario

Liaise with Sales & Service Analytics and IT Teams for the relevant business, technology and data inputs for model generation and improvement

Share the nitty-gritty of the models with the Learning Executive to implement at clients sites

Lead a team of statistical modelers
