Job Description

Maximise selling prices to achieve budgeted contribution
Identify value added downstreams for existing products
Study various markets and identify business opportunities across countries
Close monitoring of individual product contribution
Identify potential customers in new application segments
Study the specific market, conduct consumer visits to understand the peculiarities, usage cycle, etc.
Ensure Business Development by exploring business opportunity in newer markets (Apart from the existing market)
Explore trading in related product | product groups to add value to product portfolio and expand product basket.
Develop and ensure preferred supplier status with Key customers in various market | application segments.
Manage finished product inventories within budget targets
ensure zero non-moving inventory > 3 months
Ensure regular follow-up on receivables to maintain receivables within budgeted norms
Ensure zero c-form liability > 6 months
Establish customer base for new capacities being envisaged.
Identify potential for new products based on market trends and make suggestions on new product development in alignment with the division's strength
Explore new products along with their total feasibility study.
Identify opportunities where the division can offer toll manufacturing services in line with the division's strength in order to utilize existing capacity and increase turnover
Explore opportunities in existing | new markets and product segments for future growth.
Oversee coordination with division logistics, production planning in order ensure timely deliveries of products
Ensure prompt response and co-ordinate with manufacturing, R&D | QC, logistics etc to resolve customer complaints effectively. Highlight recurring trends and provide appropriate feedback for initiating corrective actions.
Benchmark with competition and explore new territories
Obtain competitor samples and their prices as a part of market intelligence
Brand development & awareness activities( New pdt. Demonstrations, educating the users etc.)
Build and maintain relationships with National and International Customers | distributors

Provide valuable inputs for formulation of suitable strategies(Mainly related to mktg. & business development)
Provide accurate monthly | rolling forecasts to maximise productivity | capacity utilization.
