Roles and Responsibilities:
Work with IT Application Operations team for complex Informatica Infrastructure support and upgrade
Knowledge authority on Enterprise Integration
Supporting Informatica in large enterprise environments
Excellent Communication/Interpersonal Skill
Responsible for installing, configuring, upgrading and maintaining a scalable and high performing Informatica solution (Power Center 8.6.1,9.x) in support of business processing requirements.
Upgrade experience from 8.X to 9.X is must
Performs software installations and upgrades to Informatica software packages
Maintain high availability and performance for production environments
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex production and SDLC environments (Informatica Application, Databases, etc.) reported through monitoring systems, support teams, and trouble tickets as per established SLAs
Collaborate with project, architecture, and release teams, providing input on architectural design recommendations, driving standards, plan and execute effective transition to production operations
Perform Core Informatica Automation tasks such as Administration configuration, global and local project environment variable configurations, performance tuning, monitoring and troubleshooting for Production, Development and QA environments
Identify, monitor, recommend, POC and build Informatica shared modules for automation, status and reporting runtime functionality, ensuring satisfactory response time with reliable database connectivity/and or system command interfaces.
Implement best practices on new Informatica implementations with cross environmental considerations (dev-qa-prod).
Ability to analyze and resolve Informatica issues related to automation including but not limited to: performance, capacity issues, and other distributed data issues
