Job Description

Position : PR Head Reports to : Co- Founder & Managing Director,Client snapshot:- Leading e-commerce company in India- Fast- paced, rapidly growing and entrepreneurial environment- High impact role- with far- reaching influence and organization- wide impact- Attractive benefits including competitive salary, performance- linked bonus etc.Key responsibilities:- Plan, organize, and direct overall communication strategies and public relations activities for the organization- Conceptualize, prepare and review material to support communications plans including media releases, blogs, online content, thought leadership articles, media interviews and reactive statements for external & internal use- Coordinate firm wide PR campaigns through effective management of external PR agencies as well as key internal stakeholders- Partner with business heads to drive proactive and positive media coverage- Conceptualize and implement external & internal events- Identify speaking opportunities for senior executives and provide support in the form of speeches and talking points- Build and develop key media relationships and networks, and respond to media and industry analyst queries- Propose, manage and control budgets, ideas, themes and timescales for corporate events and internal communications campaigns- Monitor news coverage of competitors and other industry bodies- Develop disaster management plan in case of any negative fallout affecting the firms image.- Be an inspirational leader of the overall corporate communications team
Desired Skills and Experience:- Role overview- End- to- end ownership of driving (conceptualization all the way to execution) PR activities and corporate communications for the organization- Managing external and internal stakeholders to identify and design winning PR content and disseminating it through high impact (reach and relevance) channels- Lead and prioritize key PR/ corporate communications activities based on a structured metrics and results- oriented approach.

Qualifications & Experience:- Master's in Marketing/ Communications- Minimum 10 yrs of relevant work experience- Prior leadership experience in similar roles in media houses/ e-commerce industry - a plus- Strong networks with media houses- Excellent interpersonal, communication and PR skills- Strong experience leading content,creative and business teams to drive high impact PR campaigns
