Job Description

Responsible for Managing Stress Portfolio of company and Leading a team for resolution of distress and special situation assets which involves business analysis, study of Company's potential & industry risk & prospects, business and financial restructuring, change of management, induction of strategic investor, sale of assets and investments, initiating legal actions in different forums like CDR, DRT, BIFR and under provisions of Securitization Act, 2002 and Companies Act,1956.

Management of distress assets involving interaction with top management of the restructured company, performance monitoring & benchmarking, adherence of terms of restructuring.

Principal Accountabilities:

Lead a team of Special Situation Group
Identification of problems through active engagement with Business & client
Develop strategy for resolution of stress cases and guide the team for implementation of the same
Arrive at workable solution, negotiations with the client and other external and internal parties
Final negotiations with the client, deal closure
Lead the team for evaluation of all stress cases assigned by Management Committee
Effective implementation of the solution arrived for stress cases
Oversee the active management of stress accounts and recovery proceedings
Based on learnings from recovery of stress cases, provide appropriate feedback to Business/Risk/other business groups for improvement of process

Skills & Knowledge:

Educational Qualifications CA/MBA/CFA
Comprehensive and Specialized knowledge of restructuring transaction and relevant acts, restructuring methods & processes; and credit assessment skills, Legal & Contracting aspects understanding of restructuring methods & processes; and credit assessment skills
Deep understanding of Infrastructure & Non Infrastructure Sectors & business environment in India
Should have related experience in resolution and have lead a team of 2-3 people, ability to identify, recruit, develop and motivate a high performance team
Should be capable to coming out with logical solution and should have effective communication and convincing skills
Should be capable of doing out of box thinking to arrive at solutions
Relationship management capabilities and Structuring and deal negotiation capabilities with clients
