1) Implementing an overall operational risk management process for business units
2) Conduct & monitor risk assessment, which involves analyzing risks as well as identifying, describing and estimating the operational risks affecting the business;
3) Conduct risk evaluation, which involves comparing estimated risks with criteria established by the organization
4) Establishing and quantifying the business process's 'risk appetite', i.e. the level of risk they are prepared to accept
5) Define Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) for the identified operational risks in collaboration with various stakeholders / process owners
6) Risk reporting in an appropriate way for different audiences
7) Provide support, education and training to staff to build risk awareness within the business units
8) Ensure that risk management staff is properly supervised, performs risk assessment with planned approach and within agreed time frames
