Job Description


Well proven track record of 12-15 years in managing Business Development & Strategic Alliances of which at least 8 years experience should be working with e commerce companies
Experience in securing, sustaining and growing external partnerships across numerous business entities through negotiations, management and value creation
Experience in identifying and creating well-qualified opportunities through their professional network
Reporting to
Chief Strategic Alliance Officer

Key Responsibilities:

Development of Business Development strategies through which to achieve the long-term objectives (3-5 year) for E-Commerce Alliances
Work with line management to identify and agree target E-commerce entities and organisations which successfully leverage such E-commerce entities
Prospect relentlessly to build a pipeline of opportunities aligned to agreed strategic direction, via the leveraging of existing strong relationships with decision makers and influencers, along with the formation of new such relationships
Tap the business potential of PAN India geographic areas, service and product providers
Develop a diverse assortment of external partnerships with leading e commerce companies and online businesses that will strategically further the goals of the company by providing brand appreciation, business growth and Alliance originated revenue
Support the Alliance strategy team in developing proposals, making presentations and negotiating business deal points to contract completion that provide the optimal solution for each partner
Communicate with and convince prospective partners on the value proposition
Map and engage with each key account to positively influence the decision -making process

Ability, maturity, drive and energy to aggressively pursue customers at various levels of seniority
Ability to effectively influence, collaborate and work with diverse stakeholders and internal teams
Exceptional communication, presentation and negotiation skills and positive professional attitude
Extensive relevant network
Ability to work under pressure to achieve sales targets.
