Job Description

- With the high growth ambitions of the organization in the next 5-7 years & the existing industry scenario, there is a need to further fortify the marketing function all round (B2C, B2B & the new business segment of 2W battery) & to achieve a higher consumer pull .

- The organization needs to continuously enhance it's business strategies by analyzing what is happening in the Industry, closely follow competition in the India & globally to come up with different routes & execute them that will grow the market shares aggressively and the business revenues & profits.

- Focus on improving the positioning-brand & pricing, CVP cascading across functions, leveraging global associations more will also come in with this role holder

- It is expected to bring in the fresh thinking & joint analysis of industry/competitive strategies across all parts of the businesses.

- The role covers strategisation for ALL areas of business, executing strategies via the Program Office concept in a time bound manner & enhancing profit achievement for the company. Leading the marketing function overall, providing strategy inputs to the company, ensuring execution of Key strategies across the organization including the new business segment of battery .

The Profile

- MBA with strong personality & communication skills, modern outlook, innovator, tech savvy, highly energetic, go getter attitude. Preferably worked in Metros like Mumbai, Bangalore

- A person from outside the lubricant industry who has led marketing at a national level for a consumer or auto-related brand from an MNC preferably - minimum 15 years experience in brand building & pure product management with clear examples of brand/products success that have grown revenues & profits. Should have led creating ads, communications of national campaigns & has a deep understanding of consumer led campaigns in traditional & social media channels.

- Has also done sales for at least 5-7 years at a regional level in a fast moving consumer product industry, exposure to B2B sales is also good

- Has been part of the strategy evolution process for a large business (- 500 crores) company or a consultancy firm

- International exposure will be a plus
