Duties and Responsibilities:
The Sales Manager is responsible for leading the business growth and delivering commercial and operational results in line with Business Conduct and within allocated resources for Seeds
Leading and developing sales organization and interacting with other partner functions
Handling of current sales, business development and new product identification and market research.
Build strong relationship and partnership with key customers and external stakeholders in order to size opportunities and accelerate the growth
Provide and share data-driven competitive and market intelligence
Responsible for revenue generation across products and regions and ensure yields across products through Regional Managers and Marketing Managers
Keep a tab on arithmetic calculations, pricing structures, gross margin and profitability
Strategize and plan the sales process management, forecasting, pricing, key account management, expenses, profitability, new product development, market research and brand strategy
Operating in high pressure and competitive market
Desired profile of the candidate
The ideal candidate will be a dynamic sales/mktg. professional who has spent at least 10 years in Seed Industry.
He should be graduate in chemistry/ Chemical Engg (Agriculture is a plus).
The desired experience range is around 10-15 years.
Delivering on multiple complex plans in a dynamically changing environment
Cross functional background (mktg / finance.) is a plus
Knowledge of the products and industries in which the company operates is a plus
Strong and proven leadership skills
Ability to create a vision and long term business strategy
He will be based out of Gujarat.
