Assemble and track route information, develop route maps and student lists for the new school year and as changes occur. Communicate this information to all impacted parties. Perform ongoing evaluation of route efficiencies, develop strategies for improvement and report suggested changes to the Transportation Manager. Assist the Transportation Manager with ongoing orientation, training and evaluation to the GSSD driver group and report any concerns to the Transportation Manager. Educate and ensure bus driver awareness of GSSD Administrative Procedures pertinent to the transportation function. Report areas of concern and non-compliance to the Transportation Manager. Promote safe work practices in accordance with Occupational Health and Safety, Board Policy, and supervisors directives. Prepare reports as required by the Transportation Manager. Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Facilities Manager.
