Ensure FPGA functional allocation, design, simulation, synthesis including place and route.
Sound knowledge of electrical distribution equipment related and know how.
Conduct diagnostic study and maintenance including bug fixing.
Hands-on Version Management and traceability.
Sound project execution and leadership experience of working across organizations and customers.
Coordinate FPGA firmware development, monitors quality and schedule adherence.
Support development team and provide pre-qualified and verification testing.
Ensure compliance to all regulatory needs for the product and business and support product transition to mass manufacturing.
Prior experience/ knowledge of High Speed Serial IO, Embedded Processor, or DSP will be a plus.
Hands-on with communication development, e.g. UART/ SPI / PCI / USB / CAN / Ethernet on FPGA.
Expert in working on latest technologies for synthesis constraints like IO and intra chip and setup synthesis constraints from scratch.
Highly competent with Lab debug experience with Chipscope.
Expertise in HDL, Verilog/ VHDL, write/ implement real time data acquisition, filter design and scheduling applications.
Must have released at least a product in market with HDL, Verilog/ VHDL implementation.
Hands-on Embedded C/C++, XML, IP Networking protocols, Code development in a hard real time, multi-threaded environment
Sound knowledge of defensive programming and debugging methodologies.
Strong analytic and problem solving skills for root cause determination and fixing issues.
Ability to work closely across departments for diagnosing complex problems.
Flexible towards changes in priorities, sense of urgency and focus on results.
Ability to work independently, self-driven
In-depth understanding of regulatory needs like CE/UL, IEC, IEEE needs for High power industry.
Experience in fault location, fault recording and/or power quality is desirable.
