The team member will join the Enterprise Voice Engineering team. Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
Support and implement changes on all CSAM (Communication Services Access Modules) and circuits within voice systems which include CME and CUCM Clusters
Execute change into the environment via the WF change control process
Assist with mitigating risk for the enterprise by proactively addressing capacity problems or any voice system related issues
Participate and/or lead enterprise level projects from an engineering perspective
Responsible for creating/updating voice system designs
Responsible for designing, implementing, testing, and researching industry best practices.
Participate in the research, analysis, design, testing and implementation of large and complex voice systems.
Performs or manages large voice system design upgrades, hardware, and software reconfigurations.
Participates in evaluation of vendor proposals, conducts voice system studies and traffic analysis, develop voice system architectures, and recommends modifications to the voice system configurations that reduce costs or improves services.
Serves as a high level technical resource on large-scale voice communications issues and problems.
5+ years (Voice) Network engineering and implementation experience
Implementation on Cisco CME based network is mandatory
3+ years enterprise level experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) , Cisco Unity Connection, Cisco Voice Gateways,
1+ years in programming of the Cisco Call Manager Express ( CME)
Experience mitigating risk for the enterprise by proactively addressing capacity problems or any voice system related issues.
Experience participating or leading enterprise level projects from a voice engineering perspective.
Experience in designing, planning & implementing Cisco IPT site migrations
Experience creating/updating voice system designs.
Experience designing, implementing, testing, researching and implementing industry best practices.
Experience in CUCM 9x & CUC 8.x or higher
Experience in MGCP & H.323 Voice Gateways
Experience executing change into the above environments
CCNA Voice, CCVP or CCNP Voice certification
