This role will be responsible for providing services and a range of investment, insurance, deposit and other products which addresses specific needs of our target segments and are manufactured by entities other than our Payments Bank. Our Payments Bank will act as a financial advisor and distributor of these products with respective regulatory approvals/ licensing like approval for Business Correspondent, AMFI Registration for distribution of Mutual Funds, Corporate Agency licensing for Insurance products etc. The various lines of products/ service managed by this team will include deposit products from full service banks, investment products which may include mutual funds, PMS, bonds & debentures, alternate investment products and other non-MF platform products, life insurance/ general/ health insurance, NPS, PPF, Government securities and other products.
The role of this team will include developing innovative and suitable value propositions aimed at our target market segments and range from negotiating tie-ups with external manufacturers for these products to be made available to our bank customers, developing go-to-market strategies, developing & driving sales processes, to driving business in these products through the various channels to achieve desired P/ L outcomes. It encompasses working with various teams of external manufacturers as well as within the bank to provide the support infrastructure for the processing of customer applications, MIS, customer interfaces, training, knowledge management, etc. The team is also responsible for adhering to the regulatory guidelines and creating processes for the same, internal as well as customer centric. This involves extensive cross functional work with compliance, risk, IT, training, operations and other support teams of the bank as well as various such teams of external manufacturers.
