Job Description

1. Ensure all tax reporting and compliance is done on time and correctly
2. Periodic Review of Reporting & MIS.
3. Ensure Internal Control check established across process which is impacting Tax compliance
4. Liaise & Support Internal & External Audit requirements
5. Strive for standardization across all circles
6. To Focus on areas, Improvisation in which results in strengthening the systems and process and in turn which results in reduction of exposure from tax perspective
7. Ensure Transactional Audit, Trainings and reporting as per the guidelines
8. Formation and implementation of Tax Guidelines across processes
9. Inter & Intra process Tax Trainings on Budgets and Process/IT changes
10. Process Standardisation
11. Control & Compliance related to Tax litigation management
12. Identification and implementation of Tax Saving opportunities for VIL
13. Lead and develop large team
14. Manage SLA's and report KPI's
15. Maintain SOX & internal controls, perform Quality control & risk assessment of indirect tax litigation management and its related statutory audit
16. Analytical support to business
17. Multiple stakeholder management across functions such as finance, HR, networks and employees including Cross function Trainings
18. Customer management (which includes Circles, corporates and other Entities)

Niche Skill :
Thorough understanding of PAN India Tax Laws (Direct / Indirect) & IGAAP/IFRS to ensure control & compliance,GST
Acquaintance of Tax Litigation to ensure Accurate reporting
Detailed understanding of cross functional process knowledge to establish controls & checks
Expert Knowledge in Lean & Six sigma methodology for process improvement
