-Taking proactive steps so that benchmarks related with quality, time and wastage are met at all levels
-Promoting improvement and enhanced quality in the Inventory management ensuring that idle time is minimized and inventory flow is in accordance with order priorities and production processes
-Implement all relevant procedures described in the Quality Management
System (QMS) and ensure compliance.
-Ensure that all in-house systems and procedures are updated, revised and
modified to meet the needs of external certification bodies.
-Undertake internal and process audits of the Quality Management System
-Update quality documentation and communicate to carry forward lessons
learned from quality concerns in new customer contracts
-Ensure that all necessary systems and procedures are in place to satisfy
all customer requirements and audits
Academic and Professional Qualifications
Postgraduate Qualifications in the following or other related fields from an institute of repute: operations management, supply chain management, business administration.
A certificate holder in the domain of TQM or production management.
Possessing a very good understanding and keen interest in the field of value chain optimization, standardization of production processes, quality assurance and operational efficiency.
Good work abilities with performance measurements and review tools like MIS, Excel, ERP, teleconferencing, videoconferencing etc.
Exposure to focused group trainings with one-to-one mentoring/handholding component for field personnel of supply chain so as to develop their entrepreneurial/leadership capabilities.
Good documentation and demonstration skills reports analysis, case studies, good practice documentation for sharing and scaling.
An engineer/mba having experience of TQM.in spinning / knitted garment manufacturing companies exposure to Six sigma, Lean , Kaizen, 5S, TQM, TPM,is desired (process /quality improvement)
