Ability to read and understand technical drawings Primary Responsibilities Operation Focus: A) To manage, develop, supervise and lead the service division to cater to: 1. Commissioning of supplied plants 2. Operation and maintenance contracts 3. Service calls of wastewater recycle system supplied all over India. B) To forecast resource requirement in a timely manner. C) To take preventive/corrective actions in a timely manner. D) To ensure optimum utilization of resources. E) To set up reporting systems to obtain timely data for monitoring performance of the plants. F) To ensure that the material requirement of the site engineers are met. G) To devise a feedback mechanism for design/production departments of the problems encountered. H) To ensure plants are functioning at optimal efficiency. I) To undertake process improvement initiatives/projects on periodic basis in consultation with the leadership team and with the support of down line. J) To undertake monthly inter-departmental meeting (Think Tank/Quality Circle) and draw actionable plans and communicate the same to topline & downline. K) To effectively liaison with other departments. Strategy Development & Implementation A) To design departmental goals and ensure the attainment of the same. B) To design SOP and educate the entire dept to adhere to the same. People Management A) To plan, organize, train and develop manpower. B) To undertake human resource planning exercise on quarterly basis factoring expansion/growth prospects. C) To ensure capability development of the down-line and mentoring the team-members by engaging the team in formal and informal forums. D) To prepare a holistic annual technical training calendar and impart/facilitate the training program. E) To prepare technical training curriculum and reference/study material. F) To develop a strong team spirit amongst the team players by engaging them at a formal and informal level. G) To inculcate a strong customer & commercial focus in the entire team through mentoring session/formal meeting/informal get-together. Customer Focus A) To ensure customer relationship are healthy and cordial by quick response time. B) To frequently interact with client so as to ensure excellent client relationship.
