Scouting for potential product line and new principals.
Handling of assigned principals communication. Co-ordination of offers / orders between Principals and Regional Sales Team.
Co-ordination with principals and Regional Sales Team in negotiations relating price and technical specification of the product.
Identifying new markets and business opportunities and arranging meetings with potential customers and maintaining regular contacts.
Visiting potential customers for new business and developing and maintaining relationships
Fully understanding customers needs and requirements
Providing advice about the advantages of equipment or products
Persuading potential customers to purchase products, leading price negotiations and closing sales
Advising customers of updates and new technologies
Being familiar with competitors' activities and products
Putting together proposals and tender documents
Preparing sales arguments / Price Benefit analysis / Product Presentations using Audio Visual media
Negotiating on price, costs, delivery and specifications with buyers and managers with a view to close sale
Meeting sales and commission targets.
Reviewing sales performance of assigned products and motivation regional sales team to achieve their targets / projections
Attending trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations to represent the organisation
Advising Management on forthcoming product developments and new business opportunities
Reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets
Attending team meetings and sharing best practice with colleagues.
1.Degree in Textile Engineering/ Textile Chemistry preferably with a PG diploma in Marketing Management
2.Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Word, Excel &Powerpoint.
3.Necessary soft skills
A minimum of 10 to 15 years experience in marketing of Textile Machineries of Textile Processing Sector. Experience of working in a Textile Process House / Dye House / Textile Chemistry, Shop Floor or Installation of Processing machines will be an added advantage.
