Job Description

Candidate should have rich knowledge of business processes across the manufacturing organizations with specialization in
automotive component manufacturing industry.
Should be a keen planner & strategist with expertise in planning & managing production operations.
Driving plant profitability monitoring and improving KPI of operations like plant efficiency, productivity, MTBF,MTBR, OEE,
Inventory time, In-process and customer quality, sale targets, dead and obsolesce of RM/FG inventory.
Capable of managing PPAP submission to OEMs.
Production & Operations:
Ability to plan & manage Short term & long term based on customer requirements and transforming these into daily, weekly & monthly production plan & achieving the same.
Managing the adherence to daily, weekly & monthly production plans. Responsible for achievement of sales & operation plan.
Deployment of lean manufacturing (Value stream mapping, TPI - Transactional process improvement), standardization of process and standard work Instructions. Train and implement lean manufacturing in operations.
Well versed with SIX SIGMA, KAIZEN & ISO/TS16949 procedures.
Should have displayed capability to plan development of new products in coordination with Engineering.
Imparting training to team members for optimum level of efficiency, Productivity, Quality & Cost.
Hands-on experience in Setting/Operations Maintenance of Conventional Machines & CNC machines (Turning Centre, VMC, and HMC).
Good Knowledge of Tooling, Tool selection for conventional & CNC Machines.
Good Knowledge of process inspection related to improvement in the Cycle time and achieving reduction in the process cost.
Working knowledge of fixtures and gauges for conventional and CNC Machines.
Conventional and good knowledge of productivity monitoring and efficiency according to latest industrial practices of both machines and manpower.
Rejection monitoring and rejection analysis in order to achieve minimum rejection level to improve productivity, quality and to reduce rework cost
Working knowledge of maintenance of conventional and CNC machines for high level of uptime, productivity and minimum rejection.
Exposure to TS; 16949 or ISO 9000 systems relevant to operations department, Kaizen.
Able to handle minor IR issues on the shop floor.

Excellent Analytical, Communication and people management skills
Should have displayed capability to recruit, train and manage teams
Ability to motivate and relate to people at all levels of business

Desire Profile: -
- Candidate must have Diploma / B.E. (Mechanical / Production)
- 10-15 year exp in any automobile manufacturing Company
