Owns Validation sign off for all the products & process.
Responsible for design & development of test cases, test tools, & test scripts for software.
Use existing tools & techniques to execute test cases & build/script new tools for performing testing/validation function.
Develop & lead the automation strategy/effort & generate scripts to perform automated testing cycles using test center, Quality Center, QTP, etc).
Drives validation of hardware platforms consisting of Micro-Computer based systems with Analog / Digital IOS.
Work with development team to develop Test Plans, Test Cases & QA strategies.
Participate in all aspects of Testing, including Functional, Smoke, Regression & Performance Testing.
Develop tools & concepts to Automate Product & System Testing, Field Condition Simulation.
Uses Agile Scrum Methodology for software validation & verification
Good knowledge of electrical basic concepts(CT/PT ,Transformer etc) & Omicron device.
Minimum 6+ years of relevant industry experience, with at-least four years in software test automation.
Candidate must have basic programming skills in Linux & Windows software development platform.
Good development/scripting skills in common languages like VB, JAVA, PERL, C++, Python etc
Database skills, mainly in SQL Server & Oracle
Good understanding of object oriented programming, J2EE architecture, .NET, etc
Knowledge of automated testing tools, like Win Runner, QTP, Rational Rose, Quality Center etc
Experience must include supporting a structured, process driven & continuous improvement organization.
Strong interpersonal skill set include good technical communication

Candidate must have in-depth understanding of regulatory needs like CE/UL, IEC, IEEE needs for High power industry
Understanding & exposure to industrial communication protocols like IEC 61850, DNP 3.0, MODBUS etc.
