Support experience in Linux JAVA J2EE technology with strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Experience with Linux servers in virtualized environments .
Familiarity with the fundamentals of Linux scripting languages . Familiarity with load balancing, firewalls, etc.
Ability to build and monitor services on production servers .
Debugging and troubleshooting skills in Linux, J2EE environment .
Oracle, SQL Server DB2 database experience.
Ability to organize, plan, prioritize to support incidents and requests. . Excellent written oral skills in English language. . Excellent interpersonal skills, being able to work converse with both IT and Business personnel.
Should be a self-starter and highly self-motivated to identify/plan/execute both process and application specific improvements . Provide application support for assigned applications . Create/Update applications production support documentation. . Communicates with the business customer, GSD, Database team, Operations team and Global support teams (NA) on a day-to-day basis and resolves action items. . Plays SME role in terms of technical resolution for application support . Responsible for ensuring agreed application availability and CSF/CTQ/TRT for the assigned applications. . Lead SCRP (SoX/Non-SoX), ACR / DR related activities . Ensure that appropriate security and controls are adhered for application. . Ensure appropriate use of Ford IT processes, tools and methodologies within application. . Support AD teams in the transition of Applications and enhancements from Development to Production . Support problem management and drive for efficiency. . Support to meet targets for Audits, OICs by collecting data and then implementing actions
