Develop and implement strategic communication plans in close collaboration with client/project team. Proactively contribute creative ideas, concepts or suggestions to provide added value on assigned accounts and create business growth opportunities.
Review written materials produced by team members on assigned accounts, coaching and mentoring staff, as appropriate. Ensure communication materials are delivered on time and within budget keeping relevant parties aware of the status of project activities.
Contribute to account development and participate in the creation and delivery of proposals/pitches, offering scientific expertise and strategic understanding of product, therapy area and marketplace, and developing new communication solutions and services.
Ensure consistent high quality of all writing projects on allocated projects, producing the full range of written communications items in accordance with the needs and objectives of the client, target audience and publication medium.
Line manage a small number of writers, as appropriate, and assist in the training of the team
