Senior Manager Revenue Strategy
Scope: Responsible for identifying, developing, and driving business level strategies that create opportunities for revenue and market share growth. The role will focus on the development of new market initiatives through research, analysis, and presentation of financial/analytical modeling.
This is a position for someone who has eye for detail & is entrepreneurial, resourceful and proactive. The ideal candidate will exhibit judgment and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Will be able to comfortably interact and communicate with senior executives. In addition, this individual will foster and maintain necessary internal relationships including the senior leadership team.
? Developing & implementing strategy driven by market insights and an understanding of the changing advertising environment and be a thought leader in terms of advertising revenue opportunities.
? Ad sales – financial targets and financial forecast of revenues
? Insights – pricing, incorporate analysis & target revenue maximisation.
? Mapping competition – getting to know pricing & revenue strategies.
? Research & insights – work closely with sales teams & support business initiatives, improve deal execution and client satisfaction.
? Find opportunities to streamline and improve current sales processes with the aim of developing client relationships in a more systematic manner
Qualifications, Experience & Abilities
? MBA (IIMs,leading institutes) Meritorious educational background
? Overall 8-10 years of post qualification experience of which - at least 5 years management experience in advertising strategy, sales, pricing, business development, preferably with a broadcasting media or management consultancy background
? Extensive knowledge of advertising processes negotiation to deal delivery
? Passion for TV and media. Understanding of the competitive advertising marketplace.
? Experience analyzing and presenting all relevant market, industry, and company factors to support concrete strategic targets and priorities, positioning for strong financial performance and growth
? Proven ability to research and model financial outcomes based on a variety of assumptions
? Strong project management skills, with the ability to proactively manage a variety of projects and timelines
? Strong affinity with high-growth and fast-changing environments
? Comfortable with ambiguity
? Proven ability to challenge the status quo by thinking out of the box and introducing initiatives that change the way organisations think and operate
? Self-motivated and results-oriented, this candidate should demonstrate the ability to work independently to research, analyze, synthesize, and present complex qualitative and quantitative data clearly
? Advanced communication skills with specific experience in negotiation and/or implementing major organizational change.
