Key Dimensions & Expectations: The primary function is to provide day-to-day support to all business lines relating to organization and its subsidiaries, JV, etc. as required and assigned. Work closely and effectively with business teams to understand their needs and assist them. Litigation management w.r.t. effective handling of civil, criminal, consumer and labour matters. Ensuring Compliance and regulatory changes. Review, draft and negotiate agreements including leave and license agreements, confidentiality agreements, service agreements, marketing contracts, legal documentations etc. (with sound knowledge of commercial laws) Review tender documents and advise business teams of relevant issues and risks in line with the legal requirements. Drafting of letters/ responding to notices received from customers and various statutory authorities. Should be abreast with all the applicable laws and statutes and should be able to exercise judgement and discretion to opine on legal issues. Proactively come up with new processes to manage risk factors. Educational Qualification and experience: Qualified with excellent academic background Law Degree from a reputable university/institution. He/she should be qualified in India with minimum post qualification experience of 4+ years of in corporate commercial law. Exposure to the automotive sector would be preferred.
