Responsibilities:
Password Management:
1. Responsible to manage password maintenance of more than 1000 production servers.
2. Schedule password change in production and DR post taking approvals.
3. Ensuring the approved KB documents of password change are prepared and updated.
4. Testing the password change process document in UAT and gaining signoff.
5. Should highlight the pros and cons of the document provided.
6. Should be able to introduce new processes.
7. Maintaining envelopes for the password changed
8. Before accepting user ids for password change, making sure that all the password change procedure documents and approvals are available.

DPC Operations:

1. Handle a team managing data processing operations in the bank
2. Drive vendors to deliver SLA’s
3. Review vendors on a periodic basis
4. Handle a team managing 24/7 shifts
5. Manage shift rosters
6. Ensure team follows processes / procedures laid down for Start of Day and end of Day operations
7. Oversee Data Backup Management of banking applications
8. Ensure all time sensitive tasks are completed within the defined window.
9. Build knowledge repository of known issues and solutions
10. Escalate / Communicate well within and outside the Organization
11. Maintain a repository of all assets / applications in the datacenter
12. Ensure team follows call logging / escalation mechanism within / outside the organizations
13. Handle internal / external audits.
14. Audit processes / procedures being followed by team on a timely basis
15. Publish periodic MIS and Performance score cards
16. Automate mundane tasks to improve productivity

Competencies in order of priority- This section should specify all keywords for characteristics/technical skills that a candidate must have in order to be eligible for the job profile. The competencies specified must be in Order of priority.

1. Aware of ITIL processes (Incident / Change / Problem Management)
2. Knowledge of Linux, Database would be good.
3. Understand Datacenter terminologies of hardware / software equipment
4. Excellent vendor management skills (Drive vendors to deliver SLA’s)
5. Have basic understanding of DC / Banking applications – operating systems, networks and databases
6. Knowledge of tools / technologies used for monitoring and managing software / hardware devices within the DC
7. Good communication and presentation skills
8. Should possess good problem solving skills
9. Should possess subject matter expertise to conduct DPC process audits Aware of ITIL processes (Incident / Change / Problem Management)
10. Knowledge of DR / BCP setup along with DC / ITIL certifications would be an added advantage
11. Should be able to work as a team
12. Should be able to lead a team.
