Job Description

RISK ENGINEER Key Result Areas Supporting Actions Risk Inspection, Assessment and Reporting Liaise with the fresh acquisition team to gather all relevant client information and documents to understand their different locations, types of premises, highest sum insured, etc. Liaise with the client to set up site inspections, and plan travel logistics Share detailed activity plan and agenda with the client, along with required documentation Compare observations made at the site during the inspection with what is documented in the policy Make cost - effective recommendations to the plant/ site head during the inspection Write the report identifying the risks, measures to mitigate the risks, and the additional measures that can be taken by the client Ensure a maker - checker review for the reports, and share the final report with the fresh acquisition team and the client Follow up with the client for any help they may need for implementation of the recommendations Provide advisory support to sales and placements teams, as required Lender Insurance Advisory Liaise with lenders to carry out an analysis of the risks entailed in the projects being financed by them Ensure the required documentation is shared (eg. agreements, contracts with suppliers, insurance policy terms and conditions, etc. ) to analyze whether lenders interests are adequately covered Write a report on the basis of the analysis findings with recommendations for the client, and share the same with the lender Claims Consultancy & Valuation Broking Study all relevant documentation for cases where claims settlement is pending (eg. policy coverage and terms, surveyor report, etc. ), especially cases of high sum insured and complicated policies Write a report building a case for claims settlement, and share with the client Gather and study client information where company valuation is required to be done (especially cases of property insurance), and liaise with valuation companies for quotes Recommend a suitable valuation partner to the client to conduct the valuation Ensure smooth valuation process, study the report shared at the end and seek clarifications from the valuator, as required Share the final valuation report with the client MIS Reporting, Process Automation & New Initiatives Update monthly dashboards and share the same with the Head - Risk Management and Head - Corporate Solutions Collaborate with the IT team to share system requirements and functional specifications for process automation Conduct sessions on different topics under risk management (eg. fire protection, safety measures, etc.
