Job Description

Identifies opportunities for creation of new initiatives & industry specific B2B properties like events/ conferences/ round tables/ awards/ knowledge partnerships etc. by analyzing market trends, competitor analysis etc. Spearheads creation of new properties in line with company's core strength. Possess the required skill-sets to conceptualize & ideate large format conferences & summits generating revenues both top-line & bottom-line as per the defined margins. Respon sible for generating additional revenues for all annual publication through sponsorships/print ads/ advertorials/ interviews/ company case study etc. Responsible for pitching Knowledge-based solutions and concepts to key decision makers in Corporates/ PSUs/ Banks (CXO / Director -level contacts in Marketing/Business Heads/ Corporate Communication functions) Responsible for meeting and exceeding overall sales & revenue targets set across regions. This will entail aggressive business growth and expansion of the territory for the first two years with lucrative variable pay opportunity Plans and executes national level field sales strategy by efficiently collaborating across product lines Partners effectively with teams to build synergy in product offerings and customer approach Ensures highest levels of controls and compliance are adhered to while meeting sales targets Implements marketing strategies; by analyzing trends, market mapping, competitor analysis to enable effective decisioning and forecasting of sales numbers Acts as a product expert, leveraging internal knowledge to build trust and respect with both internal and external customers Maintains and reports accurate business updates for management review Sales Co-ordination Works closely with the operations team to ensure optimum customer satisfaction. Ensures process adherence at all times and error free timely delivery of projects. Ensures optimum utilization of available resources People Skills Works cohesively with other team members Guides and mentors team members by counseling, coaching and appraising desired job results Creates an atmosphere of trust and transparency within the team Leads by example and lives by our core values of being inherently generous, relentlessly curious and data inspired. Works under the direct supervision of the Director. KEY REQUIREMENTS MBA or any relevant post-graduation with minimum experience of 10+ years in Corporate/B2B sales Achieving bottom top line targets as per assigned budgets for self Highly articulate with excellent business communication (verbal and written) skills and presentation skills suitable for a global corporate environment. Create an environment orientated to trust, open communication, creative thinking & cohesive team effort. Should not have apprehensions to travel beyond city limits for the interest of business. Possesses excellent MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint and MS-Word skills
