Job Description

Designation: Accounts Senior Manager Based out of: Jakarta The position will report into Director: Finance and Commercial.
Essential requisites for the role  Chartered Accountant with minimum experience of 4 years in relevant field.
Ability to multi-task and perform under pressure in an unstructured startup/greenfield project environment. Inclination to learn language and diverse cultural aspects. Strong traits of people management and development.
*Banking, Insurance and Finance.
a.Responsible for all banking and finance related matters.
b.Management of Investments and Debts (including fund planning and management).
c.Managing the insurance portfolio. d.Relationship management with Banks and Insurance companies.

*Financial reporting, Negotiations, Payment and Reconciliations
a.Responsible for preparation and review of the financial statement of the companies.
b.Ensuring maintenance of accounting hygiene.
c.Review and approval of all payments to vendors, employees, government authorities, etc.
d.End to end management of Payroll process.
e.Timely reconciliation and balance confirmation of all Trial Balance items.
f.Approving creation and modification of all master data in accounting software.
g.Review and Approval of purchase and service orders.

*Budgeting and Reporting
a.Responsible for comprehensive overhead and capital expenditure budgeting.
b.Periodic detailed review of budget vs actual expenses and reporting to management.
c.Coordination with Head Office for all reporting requirements.
d.Coordinate with Internal and external stakeholders for various business requirements.

*Taxation and Legal Compliances
a.Responsible for all taxation compliances (Income Tax, VAT, etc) and all other legal compliances.
b.Filing of periodic returns, making payments and handling assessments/demands/notices.
c.Coordinating and maintaining relationship with the tax and other government authorities.
d.Regularly updating all changes in the taxation and other laws of land.

*Internal controls and Audit
a.Responsible for implementing various policies, procedures and internal controls.
b.Carrying out periodic internal audits and ensuring implementation of corrective and preventive action.
c.Coordinating with statutory auditors for all areas related to the statutory audit.
