To continuously track the trends and methods in improving the robustness of the E&E system and implement the most vital and essential techniques.
Conduct Robust Reviews, Design Review, DFMEA'S, control on drawing release & vehicle for all necessary parameters to ensure first time right product delivery.
develop team for superior delivery/ performance i) motivate and guide subordinates to enable them to achieve dept., organizational goals ii) periodic review with subordinate performance, provide the feedback for development needs, organize training for enhance the capability, skill set and requisite processes within the organization.
Should have a knowledge on design and development of E&E system like Engine Management system, Electrical distribution system, Instrument Cluster, Starting system, Charging system, Battery, Ignition switches, Lighting system, switches etc.
In-depth knowledge of automotive electronic control system- function, design aspects, application & Integration.
Simulation hands on experience, model development, test cases generation.
Knowledge of Various manufacturing processes related to E&E parts, Legislative standards, new upcoming regulations( CMVR, EEC, ECE) problem solving techniques, design optimization, CATIA, DMU's, benchmarking, warranty analysis, cost reduction and value engineering.
Should have an exposure of at least E&E lead for two complete development cycles including SOP.
Team work and communication skills are playing a vital role, as Electrical systems is having interaction with all the systems.
Working in a CFT is must. Skills on vendor Selection Process and technical negotiation skills are an added advantage.
Leadership skills with an adequate decision making capability, Communication skills, Strategic orientation, and basic business acumen would be ideal.
