Roles & Responsibilities:
Prepare Business plans and budgets. Fund allocation for the various projects / departments.
Responsible for determining the project financing needs and raising funds for new projects, re financing of existing projects at optimum terms and ensure adequate cash flow to meet the organization's needs
Negotiation & finalization of key terms of financing and co ordination with bank/ financial institutions for preparation and execution of financing agreements for achieving financial closures
Ensuring timely disbursement of funds from Banks/ Financial Institution and monitoring post disbursement activities for effective fund management by proper utilization of funds
Maintaining strong MIS systems to analyze closely each project Financials and controlling through Budgetary Control Systems.
Coordinating Statutory, Internal and Tax Audits, and ensuring smooth completion of the same.
Appointing and managing the relations with Advisors & Tax Consultants.
Responsible for annual Financial Budget setting, coordinating in finalizing the Sales Budget, Production Budget and preparing Operating Budget. Quarterly review and modification whenever required.
Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable and ensure a disaster recovery plan is in place
Oversee business insurance plans and health care coverage analysis
Monitor banking activities of the organization
Responsible for various bank reconciliation activities
Oversee administration and financial reporting of the organization's Savings and Retirement Plan
Overseas preparation of payment and receipt vouchers - Cash & Bank
- Accounting for day-to-day transactions - This would include booking of bills and vouchers
- Accounting for progressive payments for customers
- Reconciling Bank account
- Preparing monthly MIS reports
Effecting Tax deduction at source on applicable payments and deposition of the same
Compliance with all tax requirements (to the extent applicable) including payment of taxes and filing of periodic returns. This would include VAT, Service Tax, TDS, PT etc.
Formulating and ensuring compliance with the management policies & guidelines with respect to accounting function
Liasioning with all external agencies like creditors, Government Departments etc.
Finalisation of accounts and getting the same audited by your company's auditors
Processing monthly salary and related annual compliance.
Overall administration of accounting and compliance function
Ensuring the right activities are put in place for
- Private equity (land bank, approval) Bank term loans / credits
- Finance cash flow and analysis
- P & L Cash flow management
- MOUs, FD schemes
- Cost optimization
- Monitoring various financial compliances
Key Performance Indicators:
Daily cash flow analysis
Compliance of corporate and applicable direct/ indirect taxation laws
Proper audit systems and comply audit requirements. Accurately prepare MIS, and balance sheets
Develop systems & procedures for regular monitoring
Cost analysis support, and compliance with all contractual requirements systems & procedures for regular monitoring
Undertake performance analysis of projects
Networking with Financial Institutions, Banks, Rating firms, Consultants, Auditors and related agencies
Provide the Director with an operating budget, Cost analysis support, and compliance with all contractual requirements
Team management experience would be beneficial
A detailed person with an eye for accuracy and good with numbers
Experience in managing large scale financial data
Background of Construction business or experience in similar line would be preferred
