Execute process work for existing refinery with skills to make DIGITAL TWIN from stable operations DCS & LIMS data.
Understand various process technology and translate this to Customize UniSim Process Models for various projects
Validate the results with DCS/OPAWARE meeting the desired yields and product specifications.
Working knowledge of customer As-exists P&IDs,PFDs,Equipment Datasheets, Vendor Drawings, GA Drawings, CPSSQ & drawings of internals
Execute various solutions of CPS Process Reliability Advisor, Process Optimization Advisor and OA and What-if optimization, LP Vector & future solutions
Do process engineering of various equipments in rating mode.
Analyze customer datasheets for completeness
Interpret As-exists pumps & compressors API datasheets and performance curve
Execute configuration work to prepare Bulk Load for Sentinel data flow
Execute the Fault Model Bulk load for CPS Solution Tableau screens development
Validate screens KPIs and Faults with flawless quality and productivity
Participate in solution demo and deployment meetings
Execute CPS capability projects that will enhance CPS solutions and improve CPS project execution performance.
Work with team to remove existing gaps in current tools' abilities in order to guide future development efforts with UniSim and Sentinel.
Develop flowsheeting troubleshooting skills and test new tools
Execute improvement programs on existing CPS solutions.
Assist CPS sales support team with economic studies for proposals.
Work closely with development team to execute productivity initiative
Collaborate with global teams to drive the CPS solutions
Basic Candidate Qualifications:
BS in Chemical Engineering is required.
Desirable 12 years of Industry experience with minimum of 8 years of experience in a technical service, engineering, process operations, or design engineering role within the refining, petrochemical, or gas processing industry is required.
Knowledge of Technologies
Additional Candidate Qualifications:
Experience in process engineering including the use of flowsheeting software (especially UniSim) to develop heat and material balances.
Knowledge of revamp engineering is added plus
Preferred experience in making UniSim/Aspen flowsheet and the validation procedure
Preferred knowledge of Plant Monitoring Services/ IIoT applications in process plant
Experience in leading projects, including planning, organizing, monitoring and successfully completing multi-disciplinary projects.
Demonstrated ability to work independently with a strong focus on delivering results and identifying alternative solutions when challenges arise.
Experience checking out, starting up, and operating refining and petrochemical process units.
