DM-Hotel sales has to channelize GMV into his/her tagged properties from different offline sources e.g., branding/visibility, local corporates, touts, nearby properties, travel agents
Local Corporates - Regular meetings and relationship building with small corporates/SMEs situated near the property to bring demand
Touts - Scout, onboard and manage touts, who can bring the customer to property
Install boards in prime locations near the property (for directions/marketing / branding) to get walk-in demand
Build relationship with the owners/GMs of nearby properties in the cluster to get surplus demand from them
Existing offline channel of properties - Transfer the existing TAs, 3Ps and Corporates of the property to network and ensure maximum extraction from them
Pamphlet distribution in neighbourhood for generating local demand for rooms/MICE
Carry out couple promotion activities / put posters at hotspots
Role & Responsibility :
1. Bring demand in owned inventory which are assigned to him/her.
2. Specific hotels (e.g., 5 hotels which could have mix, will be tagged to the demand manager-hotel sales. Target will be given to the Demand Manager-Hotel sales to bring maximum revenue only in these properties through offline activities.
3. Revenue would include all the elements that can be sold in the property e.g., rooms, banquet/conference hall, meals etc
4. Responsible for timely payments and money collection from partners in coordination with Finance
Street smartness in identifying the best sources of local demand and how to tap them
Relationship building ability with different sources of demand e.g., corporate admins, TAs, touts
Daily planning and execution of visits to nearby areas.
