Reporting to India Sales Head, the job holder will be responsible for sale of company products specific to partial discharge in GIS and Transformers in India through direct customer contact, account and representation management.
Main duties include, but are not limited to: meet and exceed order target assigned, new customer account development, new product penetration, create customer needs with the companys applications/ products, sales support for customers, represent and product management as appropriate.
Introduce and launch new products with application benefits and differentiation to existing and new customer.
Travel to customer sites to personally meet with customers O&M, engineering, production personnel and purchasing.
Negotiate prices with customer representatives.
Provide market intelligence on range of electrical monitoring systems with respect to marketing/ sales strategies, pricing program and all policies.
Advise the Companys R&D and Engineering on new product development with customer needs and market trends.
Advice customer service team with regard to policy; price competition, product differentiation, customers standard.
Provide Voice of Customer/ VOC input about customer trends, new product needs, competition analysis and customer satisfaction to BU.
Negotiate yearly contract with key OEM customers.
Essential Education, Experience & Skills:
Good time management skills and sensitivity and strong sense of urgency to meet customer requirements and exceed individual targets.
Experience and familiarity of selling range of electrical monitoring systems/ applications like products like Temperature Measurement Devices, Pressure Relief Gauges/ Relays, Fiber Optics, Transformer Monitors, Smart Breathers, Liquid Level Gauges, Dissolved Gas Analyzers, Partial Discharge Monitors, Product Assets, Grid Applications, Transmission and Distribution including related softwares.
Possess good communication, interpersonal, presentation and project management skills
