Job Description

We are looking for someone for expansion of company's Polymer business by identifying new products in various application segments.

Desired Profile : B.Sc + PG (Polymer Technology) with 12+ yrs. experience in Business Development of Polymers, preferably in Trading Environment.
Desired Polymers Industries working : PE / PP / PVC both in Extrusion & Injection moulding fields

Job Responsibilities

1. Scanning of the African market for identifying new products in the designated application segments and carry out detailed market mapping.
2. Shall be responsible for Profitability targets of the Whole Polymer Division
3. Work out the market dynamics for the identified products by studying/contacting the current level of customers, competition etc. and its fitment with the existing products.
4. Work out customer-product strategy jointly with the Polymer team at Mumbai to have Group synergies.
5. Make a viable business plan for the overall Polymer product portfolio and work towards its effective implementation, thereby expanding the company’s polymer business. He shall have to assume full responsibility of the Polymer business Gross Margins.
6. Spearhead sales operations of Polymer in Nigeria, building the company’s efficient Sales Team spread across various branch network for proper distribution of our product segments.
7. Track local competition across the country and devise proactive strategies of countering the same.
8. Supervise and coordinate warehousing operations like stocking, movement of goods, import, planning, clearance, transportation etc.
9. Keeping track of sundry debtors and manage timely collection of payments.
10. Promotion of In-house production of Masterbatch products & co-ordinate with Masterbatch team for increase in Masterbatch Business.
