Job Description

Creation of a strategic marketing plan to achieve organizational objectives in long & short term. Identifying new product opportunities for launches in line with growth plans. Business planning, forecasting and analysis for assessment of revenue potential & business opportunities. Launch planning and plan for growth of each product and their SKUs, with a view to ensure maximizing volumes sales and profit contribution. Managing overall brand profitability, by geography and channel, to optimize company investments and returns. Category Development and meeting market share objectives. Brand Building & Brand Development. New Product development & product life cycle management. Development & Management of all ATL and BTL programs / communications. Management of Creative, Media and Market research agencies. Initiate localization projects to improve gross margins. Efficient implementation of marketing programs. Market Research for Consumer Marketing Insight. Plans and Programs to meet business development Targets on Primary and Secondary Sales for all channels including general trade, modern trade and HORECA. Formulation & execution of sales & distribution strategies. Ownership of market coverage and presence; reach and efficiency. Channel development & channel partner’s engagement. In addition to functional capabilities in sales and marketing, it will help if the person has exposure to general management as being one of the senior most roles in the company, it is expected to initiate and lead organisational building initiatives.

MBA in marketing with 16-20 years. Must have at least 8 years in the packaged food industry. At least 6 years each in sales and marketing. Person would be a business focused, top of the line-marketing and sales professional having track record in having built strong brands and a successful marketing organization in a highly competitive market. He would have a deep appreciation of consumer behaviour and trade dynamics. Must have worked in large established systems driven environments, but possess a hands on entrepreneurial mindset and working style. Very strong achievement orientation along with superior people leadership. Influencing and collaborative skills of a high order.
