Job Description

Release Management:
Manage risks and resolves issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality
Measure and monitor progress to ensure application releases are delivered on time and within budget, and that they meet or exceed expectations
Conduct Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews
Coordinate release content and effort based on the service request backlog, pending service requests, third party applications, or operating system updates
Communicate all key project plans, commitments, and changes including requirements, QA plans, schedule, and scope changes
Manage relationships and coordinate work between different teams at different locations
Forward Plan the release windows and cycles across a portfolio

Build Management:
Experience in Build deployment tools like Jenkin/SVN/Jira or any Project management tools like Aha etc
Produce Deployment, Run Books and Implementation Plans
Signs off the release package for implementation
Service release and deployment policy and planning.
Deals with release package design, build and configuration.
Deals with release package acceptance including business sign off.

Incident & Problem Management:
Coordinates with different stack holders during any production issues and insure the proper closer of Incident with RCA,
By investigating complaints
By observing & studying system functioning with other team coordination.
By analyzing the Application /Servers Logs / Performance Data with team.
By using inputs from various available tools/aids or dept.
Through Discussions with other team members.
Maintains the release schedule for all core services and ensure alignment across key partners and vendors.
Lead and co-ordinate the Go-Live activities including the execution of the deployment Plans and checklists to fix Incident.

Improvisation Planning:
Proactive identify the gaps & challenges.
Planning to mitigate the risk to possible release failure and ensuring that business deliverables were completely satisfied, on time and within budget
Continually work towards making improvements in the release process
Researches new software development and configuration management methodologies and technologies and analyzes their application to current configuration management needs

Release Status Reporting:
Weekly Release Reporting & Conducting Meeting with proper updates to stockholders on regular basis.

Skills/Qualifications:
Total Exp-7-10 Years.
Advanced written and verbal communication skills are a must
Flexible, Adaptable and positive attitude
Self-Driven & passionate to learn & deliver
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field with preferred PMP & ITIL
4-6 years of previous release and/or project management experience, (Solid understanding of project management principles preferred)
2-3 years of experience in information systems operations environment in systems analysis or development
Formal training in project management practices preferred
Advanced knowledge of software development lifecycle
General PC knowledge including Microsoft Office expert level knowledge of Excel
