Job Description

• Ensuring that the sales force adheres to internal sales controls completely and does not compromise ethics for sales targets
• Achieving sustained sales volumes in a market which is crowed by many small unorganized players who operate to create unfair competition
• Following up with public sector insurance companies and ensuring quotes are received from them timely

Fresh Acquisition of Clients • Formulate strategies to acquire new clients for co.
• Guide team on sales strategies for acquiring new clients
• Maintain effective relations with the cross-selling teams and other business teams to identify opportunities of lead generation
• Coordinate with the cross-selling team to ensure that leads generated are being intimated to them on a timely basis
Servicing and retention of existing clients • Plan and guide team on a regular basis to ensure effective servicing of the existing clients
• Ensure that all client queries are being catered to, and intervene to support client queries as and when required
• Formulate strategies for managing client expectations and ensure retention of all existing clients
Sales reporting • Report daily sales figures to the corporate
• Track sales figures and provide revenue data to the senior management as and when required
• Ensure that all sales figures are being reported accurately by regional managers
Client relationship Management • Ensure effective client relationship management at a regional level
• Intervene and respond to client queries and issues as and when required, to ensure client satisfaction
• Guide and train all team members towards building effective relationships with new as well as existing clients
• Drive sales through effective management of client expectations and perceptions
Supporting claims management • Support the claims management team as and when required to coordinate with the client
• Intervene and support the claims management team to address client issues and queries during the claim settlement process
Team Management • Communicate sales targets and achievement transparently
• Guide the team and provide constructive feedback on sales performance of the team on a timely basis
• Identify and provide constant learning and growth opportunities to the team through succession planning, job rotation
• Analyze attrition cases in consultation with the HR team and formulate plans to keep the team motivated and engage
