Job Description

Act as Single-Point-Of- Ownership for new product, product reform and artwork projects managing from idea / concept to commercialization.
Watch out for developments in the industry, pricing trends of materials & continuously come up with new product / cost optimization ideas, evaluate the ideas and prioritize PD pipeline based on feasibility analyses.
Establish, Update & Maintain a network of knowledge resources to get an early advantage of innovation / technology.
Detail out product formulation based on consumer research, feasibility and financial assessment.
Work effectively with team members across multiple departments, RPM / Equipment vendors and service providers, statutory bodies, institutions to deliver products against an ambitious timeline and to a high standard.
Quality Assurance:

Over all Incharge of QA function ensuring Quality of incoming, in process, finished goods & cold chain till consumer end as per standards.
Proactively assure quality by ensuring SOP adherence, PRPs, Hygiene , Validating processes, designing and implementing HACCP, conducting Internal audits, coordinating external QMS (FSSC22000), Legal and other audits / visits etc.,
Developing and maintaining high quality Chemical, Sensory and Micro laboratory.
Handling consumer complaints and ensuring corrective and preventive actions are taken to avoid complaints.
Establish quality standards, specifications as per legal and consumer requirements.
Achieve financial objectives by preparing the quality assurance budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variance etc.,
Technical/Professional Knowledge and Skills:

Excellent knowledge of ice-cream technology, milk, fat, protein, flavor chemistry. Utilize scientific methods to develop knowledge that creates business opportunities
Ability and interest to work in laboratory, pilot plant and manufacturing environments.
Good sense of business/technical interrelationships and eagerness to work in market and understand consumer preferences.
Pro-active/Self-Starter with demonstrated ability to translate business ideas into practice and derive benefits.
Good organizational skills Contributes to team empowerment by Training and improving skill level of employees. Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to influence/convince the people.
Proven ability to make significant technical advances utilizing internal and/or external resources
