Establish and evolve formal QA processes, ensuring that the team is using industry-accepted best practices.
Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met.
Act as key point of contact for all QA aspects of releases, providing QA services and coordinating QA resources internally and externally.
Lead and mentor QA team members.
Develop test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual and automated).
Must have a knowledge of functional, UI, load and performance testing
Knowledge of testing embedded applications.
6+ years of exp managing a team of around 10+ people but ready to do hands on work as well
Sound Technical background (coding/scripting knowledge) for automated regression testing
Sound experience across different mobile app, web app testing processes and tools (Selenium/Appium, Jmeter, Saucelabs, Testfairy, Postman, Charles proxy, Logcat, etc.)
Working knowledge on instrumentation, network, security testing for mobile and web apps
Sound knowledge in manual testing as well (test case document creation, execution)
Good project management (estimation, execution, reporting, training, team motivation) in agile environment
