Ambitious, energetic, and hard-working professional with experience in the design and implementation of M&E and MIS systems in the development sector. Knowledge and experience in the design of mobile based systems will be preferred.

Review existing M&E systems and assess suitability to information needs. In particular, review existing indicators and programme logic models, data and information collection systems and refine and further strengthen these systems where required. Where possible, explore the possibility of implementing mobile based M&E and MIS systems.
Design an MIS system to facilitate regular tracking of programme progress across key implementation sectors and develop related data collection tools. Support field staff in implementing data collection systems and in undertaking surveys, both qualitative and quanitative.
Regularly review quality of data and methods of data collection, and support field staff to improve quality of data.
Support and assist in the process of identifying resource organisations to undertake surveys, evaluations and impact assessment studies.
Support the process of developing annual/ quarterly/ monthly workplans for various sectoral interventions, and develop systems to regularly review progress against agreed milestones (both technical and financial).
In consultation with the State Programme Manager, develop and maintain an updated presentation on AKFs programme in Bihar designed for an external audience.
Coordinate visitor field visits, including finalising visit itineraries and briefing notes.
Develop and be responsible for a photo bank, highlighting various project interventions, including before and after intervention photographs and time series photo documentation.
Contribute to the creation of a GPS enabled map of AKF project interventions and geographies, and update this on a quarterly basis.
Lead the development and timely submission of programme progress reports in line with grant contracts, ensuring that these are of high quality.
Support the State Programme Manager in the development of an overall annual workplan with agreed milestones, and systems to track and report on progress on a quarterly, half-yearly and annual basis.
Contribute to the development of project proposals, communication documents and programme fact sheets.
Undertake regular field visits to monitor progress and review quality of data being collected.
Provide regular progress updates on programme implementation trends, highlighting areas requiring strengthening.
Plan for regular events to share emerging learning from field implementation.
Review M&E and MIS systems for AKF supported interventions in districts Muzaffarpur and Samastipur, and where required support AKRSP (I) in further strengthening and refining these systems.
Carry out any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the State Programme Manager.
