Manage the product roadmap and lifecycle from market research, competitive analysis and other strategic planning to tactical activities for Sales Planning Platform

Responsibilities
Market Research: Research and codify the latest trends, requirements and needs related to Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) and Sales Performance Management (SPM) domains and PaaS in general
Competitive Strategy & Analysis: Maintain an outside-in-view at all times and keep a close tab on competitive movements in the market related to EPM and SPM capabilities
Product Conceptualization: Work closely with customers, partners and other external and internal stakeholders to conceptualize and define sales planning platform.

Product Ownership:
Gather requirements and lead the roadmap planning process for the successful development of the sales planning platform capabilities on an ongoing basis
Work with Software Development for backlog grooming and deliver product roadmap as the Agile Product Owner
Identify, evaluate, and plan strategic integration efforts with 3rd party vendors to deliver the absolute best user experience for our customers as part of the build/buy/partner strategy
Work with marketing to develop messaging and collateral for our planning and modelling capabilities
Sales Support: Support sales, channel, and marketing teams as a product expert and evangelist
Prerequisites
Minimum of 3-10 years experience in implementing enterprise SaaS/PaaS solutions
As a product manager or product owner with technical responsibilities to deliver next generation enterprise SaaS/PaaS solutions
Experience in domains like CRM, Sales Performance Management (SPM), Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) etc. will be particularly helpful
Experience building or designing mobile apps (native/hybrid/web) for SaaS or consumer products is also preferred
Experience leading projects, engaging with, and driving change across diverse, cross functional teams
BS in computer science, information technology, design or similar degree from an engineering school required, MS/MBA preferredExperience with agile methodologies, teams and user story definition and management tools (Jira, Jama, for example) and software collaboration tools like Confluence, etc.
Strong experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Word and other workplace productivity tools
Strong analytical skills and ability to draw insights from data, market research and user feedback (survey- s, focus groups, etc.)
Prior experience with software and tools such as IBM Cognos TM1, Oracle Hyperion, Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, Host Analytics, SAP Planning Cloud,
Internally driven to pick up new technologies, trends and implement working demo environments
Ability to distill the technical highlights of a software product into which items differentiate it from competitors, and why
Presentation skills and developing customer facing material are a must, but showing passion behind what you present is a major plus
Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
Possess a style that is rooted in Ownership, Passion, Teamwork, Innovation, and Collaboration
