The Product Manager is responsible for defining, positioning, pricing, and the promotion of grooming products for the Consumer and Professional along with managing the market adoption and product life cycles. This position is “the voice of the customer” and “owns” the product and is ultimately responsible for its overall success.
The Product Manager works to determine customer requirements (via research, personal interviews, focus groups, surveys, roundtables, etc.) and translating them, through the development process into all required marketing documents and complete project. The individual in this role works to identify business opportunities that will expand market share, sales and profits within the various market categories. Studies channels of distribution and champions’ product development and promotes the most appropriate sourcing/ manufacturing locations to maximize profits. Performs in-depth market research analysis and recommends product updates and changes.
