We are currently seeking a President, who will couple their considerable sales and marketing acumen with the company’ s proven existing growth “ blueprint” to drive expansion into other verticals. With the experience and capability to build a world-class team, this individual will utilize high potential members of the existing team, add necessary leadership in key areas, and build efficient systems and processes for scale and to fuel the company’ s growth. Ultimately, this role is responsible for ensuring the infrastructure of the company supports the strategic growth plans of the organization and for successfully scaling the team for growth and profitability.
The ideal candidate will be a strong consultative leader with a background in sales and marketing and the skills necessary to build strong relationships with both internal and external constituents. This individual will be skilled at driving growth externally, while building the internal team required to scale. The President will leverage their expertise and experience to lead all facets of the company, allowing the CEO to focus on strategic initiatives and the company’ s strategic marketing and product development. The candidate for this position will work out of the company’ s Headquarters and will report to the CEO with interaction with the company’ s private equity partner.
Provide team development, leadership, and structure to the existing team Recruit and onboard next-level talent from outside of the organization to drive growth and profitability Identify efficiencies, establish KPIs and implement best practices to scale Maintain key customer relationships and develop and implement strategies for expanding the company’ s customer base Utilize the company’ s growth “ blueprint” to expand into additional verticals
15+ years of relevant sales and marketing experience with strong business acumen and proven track record in leading the evolution and scaling of a high-growth, $100 + million company
Exceptional leadership skills, evidenced by successfully building, motivating, and managing high-performance teams, and by effectively working as a partner with executives and senior management
A proven track record of achieving and exceeding growth plans.
Demonstrated operational expertise and executive leadership
An inspiring and motivating leader and manager with excellent communication skills, team coaching, mentoring and development experience building out teams and collaborating cross-functionally
A customer-centric executive who understands the premise of marketing, selling, and delivering a product in such a way that it exceeds customer expectations.
Preferred industry experience includes financial services, technology and/or professional services with experience in sales, marketing and channel development to the SMB market.
Ability to set and achieve company and individual metrics and goals, and hold teams accountable
Bachelor’ s degree required, MBA preferred
