Role & Responsibilities:
Overall responsibility for the Factorys performance in terms of Production, Purchase, Commercial, Logistics, Maintenance, Quality, PPC, Stores, Accounts, HR, Admin and external environment.
Manage and lead team of Functional HODs in the Plant. Conflict Resolution, Prioritization setting, Strong Communication Skills.
Conceptualize, Plan and Execution all operational activities in the plant with ability to involve, convince and engage all functional for a common goal.
Ensure standardized processes across the plant with robust review mechanism through Accountability Meetings and Functional MIS reviews.
Act as Factory Manager, Strategic Business Unit (SBU) with regular Customer and Business Interaction.
Ensure 100% On-time and In-full (OTIF) for the complete Unit and manage Profit & Loss Account.
Initiate cost reduction projects enhance productivity/ efficiency thru CAPA.
Ensure compliance to quality, safety and legal requirements with thrust on BS OHSAS, TS 16949, 14001:2004 etc.
Ability to implement QMS, TPM, Lean Manufacturing practices and ensure direct connect with customers to address customer complaints.
Preparing & managing cost, budget as well as CAPEX/ manufacturing cost.
Desired Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
BE-Mech/ MBA with 12 to 18 yrs exp in Sheet Metal, Forging Manufacturing industry heading Techno Commercial Function, Production, Purchase, Commercial, Logistics, Maintenance, Quality, PPC, Stores, HR and external environment.
Hands-on Process Design / Execution on all aspects of process development for new parts / assemblies from conceptualizing stage to design, documentation, procurement, tryout, capability studies, validation, handover to end users, sustenance, debugging & continual improvement.
Relevant Industry: Industry where manufacturing process involves process on metal, sheet metal, mass production, component manufacturing, Sheet Metal components, Auto components (Not ASSEMBLY).
Understanding of TOC (Theory of Constraints) is preferable.
Excellent Analytical, Communication, Presentation and leadership skills.
Understanding of managing cost Caped budget as well as day to day operational/ manufacturing/ employment cost.
Manpower handling experience of more than 1000 employees.
