Job Description

Ensuring all payroll transactions are processed efficiently. Resolving payroll discrepancies. Maintaining payroll operations by following policies and procedures. Ensuring proper accounting of all Employee benefits and account reconciliation of employees of the Company which includes payroll, perks, travel and any other advances given to the employee
*To be transitioned to SSC at a later date, post merger of MS payroll

2. Strategic:
Point in contact for accounting of payroll
Policy review, benchmark, reconciliation on travel
Signoff on employee settlements

3. Operational
Support for payroll transition to Shared Service centre
Ensuring accurate payroll transactions and payments
Resolving payroll issues
Ensuring GL validation of entries of all Employee related transactions.
Reconciling employee travel advances and payroll entries
Ensuring proper accounting of entries of all employee entitlements
Reconciliation of employee account balances
Validation of all Full & Final settlement of separated employees
Obtaining confirmation of balances from employees and sharing of employee account statements
Updating the account statements in the employee portal
Ensuring all FI entries made appropriately and handle all Audit queries related to Employees
Single point of contact for employee related queries on the accounting of employee entitlements
Supervision of PF trust accounting and investments

. Financial
Ensure quality, accounting and GL validations
Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial matters.
Closely work with the accounting team on compliance to accounting standards and guidelines

Required Candidate profile M.Com / MBA- Finance with 8-10 yrs of experience with min 5 years in payroll accounting /payroll process .
Experience of working in a medium/large size manufacturing company or shared services / BPO
Should we well versed with Indian Payroll and employee benefits .
Should have experience in payroll process transition
Great attention to detail and confidentiality

Knowledge of SAP
