Retail DBA 5-8 years of Oracle Retail expertise in System Administration role of Oracle Retail Applications in a global 24*7 environment. Experience Design, build and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. Experience Required: Install/Support/Upgrade of Oracle Applications - such as Oracle Retail, Fusion Middleware and Oracle RDBMS. Troubleshoots with problems regarding the databases, applications and integration issues. Performs database re-organizations as required to assist performance and ensure maximum uptime of the database. Well versed with DBA activities like Cloning, Patching, Backup/Recovery Operations Should have working knowledge and experience of High Availability, Disaster Recovery & Load Balancing features. Controls migrations of programs, database changes, reference data changes and menu changes through the development life cycle. Performs reviews on the design and code frequently to ensure the site standards are being adhered to. Provide technical support to functional and application development teams. Provide L3 & L4 support to customer expectations. (i.e. Event, Incident, Problem, Service Request Management and Change Request.) Work on RCA and SIP and create SOP documents as and when needed. Knowledge of Fusion Middleware concepts. Knowledge of setting up SSO & wallet configurations for Oracle Retail applications and database. Aware of ITIL concepts and worked on any of the ITIL tools like Service Now or Remedy. Desirable Skills: One End-to-End life cycle implementation of Oracle Retails applications with various modules like RMS, ReIM, FFE, RDE, Interfaces, etc. Oracle Apps DBA skills Knowledge of Automic job scheduling for Oracle Retail applications.
