Job Description

Manage the daily workflow of Systems Administration and Support group to ensure timely and accurate daily operations.
Supervise a group with varying levels of experience and backgrounds. Responsible for the
training and development of assigned personnel. Establish career plans with staff.
Plan and set departmental goals. Assist manager in developing and improving procedures given
the current systems utilized and new systems being developed.
Manage and participate in various projects in the department. Identify project objective,
resources and barriers, and implement project strategies. Ensure successful and timely
completion of projects.
Business Continuity - Provide direction and make decisions during unexpected events. Assist in
developing and maintaining business continuity procedures.
Assist Manager with Strategic Planning
Supervise the daily systems Administration and support functions by reviewing daily work,
resolving, and addressing technical and logistical issues as they occur, thereby ensuring the
accuracy of the investment systems.
Supervise and review data integrity Administrations and control checks to ensure the quality and
timeliness of all daily information distribution in compliance with internal controls and regulatoryrequirements.
Requires the ability to work with IS&T and Fund Accounting and other departments such as
Trading to ensure that up-to- date information is maintained in all systems. Knowledge of Project
Management, information systems, and financial markets is required, as well as the ability to work
on multiple problems at the same time and keep all appropriate personnel apprised. This would
entail dealing with various external and internal contact personnel to resolve problems.
Crisis management Ability to recommend and implement a plan of action to meet objective
when the systems are down, system processes are not functioning or other uncertainties in the
system environment.
Maintain user access to Unity and other department systems as necessary. Coordinate with FTT
to maintain user access on Unity, Perform and Datafax. Support the addition, deletion, and
changes to funds on Unity, and other department systems as necessary.
