Provides leadership and direction on continuous improvement projects (Yellow Belt, Green Belt and Lean projects) with a focus on business process improvements
Responsibilities include coaching of Yellow Belt / Green belts, Metric reporting to visualize the M1 program/ projects / tasks -related communications with in their process areas
Reporting into Site OpEx lead, the incumbent will provide expertise, coaching and analysis in Six Sigma problem-solving methodologies, Lean methodologies (5S, Visual Management, Standard work etc.) for continuous improvement initiatives at the site
In this role, OpEx Manger will support various teams in delivering Yellow and Green, Black Belt and Lean for continuous improvement from Problem Definition to Control phase through DMAIC (including use of our Human Error Prevention PHP)
The OpEx Manager will work closely with functional head as Business partner / production team for the purposes of providing solutions and deployment methodologies to meet business needs
OpEx Manager will develop and lead projects to add value and progress to the function towards its long term vision (performance tracking and problem solving for the program)
Work with functional head and production teams to align deployment activity with the needs
of the business and with site strategy and performance.
Proactively identifies opportunities and applies Yellow Belt/Green Belt and Lean methods to implement solutions and improve performance.
Projects to be clearly chartered and to ensure clarity of results, support and influence are also important in this role
To manage change, ensure performance tracking is in place and institute corrective actions through CI Loop includes reporting of metrics, visual management through AICs
Coach colleagues in the application and use of Yellow Belt / Green belt to solve business problems
Continue to engage with teams to assess performance and ensure CI loop is effective.
Training and strong demonstration of Six Sigma / Lean methodologies
