Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. To convert marketing and communication strategies into materials supporting integrated campaigns for new and existing target markets.

2. Responsible for the coordination of programs focused on market growth through outreach to referral sources.

3. Responsible for managing & implementation of strategic market access and execution of marketing programs that expand the existing four business units.

4.This is a cross-functional position, and requires close working relationships with pan India Sales, Marketing teams.

5. Has to work closely with all Product Managers.

KRAs & Specific Role:

1.Experience managing relationships, contracts and projects with external vendors.

2. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to be able to craft and refine plans.

3. Ability to work cross-functionally, identifying synergies between businesses and markets to drive efficiencies and consistency of messaging.

4.Expertise delivering complex projects to meet demanding feature, cost, quality.

5. Collaborative attitude; willingness to support product line managers and field goals.

6.Create and execute integrated awareness, reimbursement and market development strategies to address the needs of customers.
Key Deliverables:

v Market Awareness & Media Planning:

1.Lead event management (Agriculture summit, FICCI events, Customer events, etc) customized to national and local demographic,geographic specifications, brand &
sector and support Product Management team in development of budget and implement media strategies to support the BTL brand campaigns and ATL activities.

2. Help in evaluating the reach and impact of media activities to Identify issues & opportunities to leverage the same in upcoming campaigns in order to build brand focus
in conjunction with operational requirements.

v Branding & Promotions Management:

1. Working as an interface between regional teams and HO marketing department to suggest/finalize and monitor promotional schemes.

2. Translation of product management teams insights into marketing campaigns, timely communication to sales team & seeking feedback for improvement.

3. Tracks and maintain inventory levels of promotional materials by determining ordering volumes, issuing purchasing requests and proofing the stock.

4. Initiate and drive process improvements for trade promotion materials delivery e.g. implementation of SAP, making planning and dispatch cycle on a monthly cycle;
Secure warehousing space wherever required.

v Driving Cost Efficiencies & Media Plan Effectiveness

1. Leading deal negotiations with key broadcasters and media owners, creating new deal templates to suit requirements of UPL Brands, Improved effectiveness of media
plans by creating multi-media planning tools and strengthening the media budgeting process in order to ensure best media coverage and the most economic prices.

v Agency & Vendor Management:

1. Vendor management empanelment, audit & evaluation. Managing multiple media agencies across mediums to deliver integrated media solutions.

2. Setting the right KPIs for agencies and reviewing the same. Work with agencies on a regular basis.

3. In order to improve efficiency and effectiveness of vendor services, 100% on time in full delivery and automation of processes eg; Ariba Platform.

v Stakeholder Management

1. Collaborating with Business Intelligence & marketing Intelligence teams, customer relationship management and commercial teams in order to ensure timely
implementation of plans as per calendar.

v Budget Allocation & Clearance

1. Ensure the implementation of robust, billing processes and timely budget allocation to various promotional activities in order to ensure timely PO and clearance of bills
to vendors.

v Key Campaigns & Events Management

1. Engaging and reaching out to the trade using appropriate and cost effective media vehicles as per the plans devised by Product Management and Sales team.

2.Work closely with the sales team/product management team to understand the market & help design customized programs such as Modern Trade, provide logistics and
support to Sales & Marketing teams in order to execute Trade related events to enhance the brand at channel (retailer & distributor level).
