Job Description

Job Responsibilities
o The Marketing Manager is responsible for providing marketing support across First Data India’s business verticals, focusing on lead generation, client retention, and revenue-driving campaigns. This individual will work closely with the Sales teams with the primary goal of helping drive revenue. The Marketing Manager role emphasizes B2B marketing. It may include but will not be limited to:
• Planning and executing lead generation campaign activities against pre-defined campaign metrics
• Planning and executing merchant acquisition and retention programs with emphasis on digital space
• Defining market, competitor and merchant research needs
• Brand building within the greater industry especially through social media channels
• Event and trade show planning
• Manage internal and external communications
• Develop, implement, measure and share cost-effective marketing and communications strategies, standards and best practices company-wide
o This position will work with the Marketing Director and Marketing VP to define and direct marketing strategies including budget management across multiple teams. This Manager will be responsible for the successful management and coordination of assigned projects. They will monitor, evaluate and document the progress of each project and prepare the right level of communication to the management. The position develops budgets and is responsible for metrics to measure the success of his/her area of responsibility. This position will be expected to stay on budget with all deliverables and meet established deadlines. Performs duties and makes decisions and recommendations under limited direction and using a high degree of initiative and independent judgment.

Job Requirements

• MBA in Marketing
• Minimum 7 - 9 years of relevant experience in a B2B environment including 3 years in a similar capacity
• Broad knowledge in a variety of marketing and communications areas
• Experience with digital marketing and social media
• Excellent writing, presentation and verbal communications skills and strong attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple, parallel projects to deadline in a cross-functional team environment
• Impeccable PowerPoint skills
• Experience in the payments industry a plus
• Positive outlook

• Out-of-the-box thinking
